Position Overview
We are seeking a BMS/Controls Engineer to design and support building automation systems for mission-critical facilities and data centers. This role will focus on integrating power, cooling, security, and monitoring systems while supporting projects from design through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design BMS/BAS solutions for data centers and critical infrastructure.
- Develop control schematics, I/O lists, sequences of operation, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors, integrators, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support equipment selection, control system architecture, and project execution.
- Review drawings, submittals, and technical specifications.
- Support system testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
- Travel to project sites as needed for commissioning and system evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience with BMS, BAS, controls, or facility automation systems.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure, HVAC controls, and critical power systems.
- Experience with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, and TCP/IP.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
