EHS Specialist (m/w/d)
Our client, an international industrial company, is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for its production site in the Arezzo region (Tuscany). In this key role, you will be responsible for implementing and further developing the site's EHS strategy while ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and execute daily EHS activities at the site.
- Collaborate with external safety officers and internal departments.
- Update risk assessments and safety documentation (including DUVRI).
- Maintain and ensure certifications according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 through internal audits.
- Organize and monitor mandatory safety training programs.
- Analyze energy consumption, waste management, and water treatment systems.
- Promote a safety-oriented culture (Behavior-Based Safety program).
- Work closely with the international EHS department.
Your Profile
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- ASPP certification.
- At least 4 years of experience in implementing and managing EHS systems.
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001).
- Strong analytical skills for data evaluation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, team player, and problem-solving mindset.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- High sense of responsibility and structured working style.
