Our client is a global manufacturer in the chemicals space for floor care products that is searching for a Regulatory & Sustainability Manager. This Manager is going to be a member of a global team and is responsible for ensuring product compliance against global standards and driving sustainability initiatives. This role is based in the greater Charlotte area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure product compliance with regulations like TSCA, FIFRA, REACH, VOC, and EPA
- Lead sustainability initiatives and maintain associated documentation
- Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Team
- Ensure compliance with certifications like GREENGUARD, Green Seal, and EPA Safer Choice
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation
- Monitor regulatory trends and advise on impacts and strategies
- Create and manage Safety Data Sheets
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in a science discipline or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in regulatory affairs and product compliance, preferably with global exposure
- Knowledge of the chemical industry and environmental regulations
- 2+ years managing sustainability initiatives
- Familiarity with European Sustainability regulations and reporting standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills
