Overview
A leading US semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Advanced Packaging Material Category Supplier Manager to lead global sourcing strategies for materials supporting HBM and advanced packaging technologies. This is a highly strategic role focused on supplier management, commercial negotiations, technology partnerships, cost optimization, and supply chain risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global category strategies for advanced packaging materials and HBM technologies.
- Monitor supplier capabilities, market trends, technology roadmaps, and pricing dynamics.
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Lead sourcing activities, RFQs, contract negotiations, and long-term commercial agreements.
- Drive cost reduction, value creation, and multi-year savings initiatives.
- Develop dual-source and supply continuity strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, planning, finance, and technology teams to support future technology requirements.
- Act as the procurement subject matter expert for advanced packaging materials across global programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, category management, sourcing, or engineering.
- Semiconductor industry experience preferred, particularly in advanced packaging, materials, or HBM-related technologies.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and category management.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior supplier leadership and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
