About the Role
Our client is looking for an energetic and driven Account Manager with a background in logistics or supply chain to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and managing key accounts in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of customers, ensuring high‑quality service delivery while proactively identifying opportunities for growth. As the business continues to scale, this newly created position plays an important role in strengthening our presence across the Dutch logistics market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts within the logistics and supply chain sector
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximise customer value
Develop long‑term partnerships through regular communication, meetings, and service reviews
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction
Analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Contribute to commercial strategy and support business development when needed
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking moments
Requirements
Approximately 3 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or freight, ideally in a commercial or customer‑facing role
Strong communication and account‑management skills
Fluent in Dutch and English
Amsterdam‑based or willing to commute (hybrid working available)
Proactive mindset with the ability to build relationships and spot opportunities
Organised, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple accounts
