The client is currently seeking a Team Leader Export Air Freight to join the Frankfurt Air Freight team. This is a hands-on leadership role for a reliable and experienced professional ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, and develop a team of 7 export air freight specialists
- Act as the main contact for regional customers
- Ensure smooth process organization and quality control of all export orders and billing
- Prepare quotations and analyze regular performance reports
- Oversee customs processing, dangerous goods handling, and damage management
- Collaborate closely with regional and global prganisation´s air freight teams
- Communicate effectively within the global company´s networ
What we are looking for
- 10+ years in air freight forwarding
- Ideally 5 years in a leadership role, but open to candidates with initial leadership experience (e.g., leading 4 people)
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Responsible, organised and loyal personality
