Production Supervisor (Nights)
One of our key clients in the plastics manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will leverage leadership skills, operational experience, and effective communication to identify and implement improvement opportunities in people, processes, and systems.
Title: Production Supervisor
Location: King of Prussia, PA Area
Shift: 3rd
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance targets.
- Manage staffing levels, labor utilization, and departmental budgets to support plant objectives.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to ensure quality standards and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools, including SPC and DMAIC methodologies.
- Monitor performance metrics, enforce safety and standard work practices, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve results.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities; 3+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing environments with a focus on continuous improvement and high-performance teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills; Six Sigma training/certification is a plus.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations for authorized access to controlled data.
