A global logistics company with a strong European presence is expanding its Road Freight sales team. To accelerate commercial growth, we are looking for a hunter‑minded Sales Manager who is passionate about acquiring new customers, developing business from scratch, and shaping regional market growth.

This is not a leadership role, it is a high‑impact individual contributor position for sales professionals who thrive in a competitive environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively target and acquire new customers for Road Freight services
  • Build your own pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and in‑field visits
  • Develop tailored commercial solutions that meet customer transport needs
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and long‑term agreements with key decision‑makers
  • Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to increase customer value
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to gain a competitive edge
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing scenarios
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Represent the company at client meetings, trade fairs, and industry events

What You Bring

  • Strong background in Road Freight Sales, preferably in a hunter/new‑business role
  • Proven success in winning new customers and converting prospects into long‑term accounts
  • Solid understanding of the European road transport market, pricing, and customer pain points
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Highly proactive, persistent, and results‑driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and close deals efficiently
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong motivation to grow revenue
