2nd shift Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician 3, you'll serve as a key technical expert responsible for maintaining advanced equipment and critical production machinery. Your role includes executing precise preventive maintenance, replacing sensitive components, and performing detailed troubleshooting to keep systems running at peak performance. You will also take the lead on special projects such as new equipment installations and facility layout updates. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall quality standards.

What You Will Do

Corrective Maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to restore optimal functionality.
  • Provide detailed feedback to leadership regarding recurring problems or risks identified during maintenance.
  • Implement corrective actions aimed at reducing equipment failures and downtime.
  • Perform repair work on extruder and injection molding equipment.

Maintenance Work Requests

  • Execute specialized maintenance tasks and collaborate with requesters to gather required details and deliver effective solutions.
  • Monitor and track materials, spare parts, and chemical supplies to ensure timely availability.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on high‑tech and mission‑critical systems.
  • Perform predictive maintenance assessments and promptly report abnormal conditions.
  • Recommend continuous improvements to strengthen the Preventive Maintenance Program.

Special Projects

  • Lead project initiatives, including equipment installations, layout changes, and machine refurbishments.
  • Use A3 problem‑solving methods to identify root causes and support Kaizen activities focused on operational improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • Education: Technical Certificate or Degree required.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in a maintenance role, including hands‑on experience with injection molding.
  • PLC Skills: Ability to read and interpret ladder logic.
