Account Manager
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager in the Electronics industry, you will take ownership of several key strategic accounts and serve as their primary advocate within the organization. Your mission is to deliver exceptional customer service, strengthen long‑term partnerships, and uncover opportunities for ongoing growth. You will work closely with Program Managers to support new product introductions, design transfers, and the seamless execution of customer programs.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Act as the customer's internal champion, ensuring that their priorities and expectations remain front and center.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships through proactive, consistent communication.
- Collect and analyze customer information to identify potential areas for account expansion.
- Engage clients regularly to uncover new business opportunities and support ongoing revenue development.
- Prepare and deliver quotations for both new and existing customer products.
- Develop schedules and timelines that support ongoing customer initiatives and activities.
- Provide ongoing, hands‑on support to maintain and retain customer programs throughout their lifecycle.
- Respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries, ensuring a positive experience at all touchpoints.
- Keep Enercon leadership informed by reporting on account performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Recommend Enercon services and solutions that enhance value for customers and drive satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team on strategies to win additional value‑based business.
- Work closely with Program Managers to support new product development and transfer activities.
- Mentor Associate Account Managers and contribute to the growth of the account management organization.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction while also ensuring profitability and margin improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate teams and drive coordinated execution.
- A high degree of self‑motivation, organization, and accountability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and resource‑allocation practices.
- Understanding of business and management principles related to production, resource planning, and cross‑functional coordination.
- Strong business judgment and decision‑making capabilities.
- Ability to quickly learn Enercon systems, processes, and technology.
- Skilled negotiation abilities and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A proven track record of growing and maintaining customer accounts.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Account Management.
