About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading metals manufacturing company as an Electrical Engineer supporting maintenance operations. You'll be part of a team focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement, with hands-on involvement in electrical systems and project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procedures, preventive maintenance (PM), and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Support 5S, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead root cause analysis meetings to resolve process issues.
- Coordinate plant outages, down days, and special projects.
- Monitor costs related to electrical maintenance activities.
- Oversee electrical projects and ensure timely, effective repairs.
- Utilize SAP for maintenance coordination and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of a world-class maintenance program.
- Provide hands-on support to maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical engineering experience.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills within electrical departments.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in seamless pipe mill operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD, SAP, Excel, and project management software.
- Demonstrated success in engineering design and improvement projects.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
