Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: North New Jersey
A global leader in aerospace systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its New Jersey facility. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development, providing subject matter expertise, and supporting the Chief Engineer with system-level design, technical analysis, and engineering problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs for complex aerospace systems, including embedded digital hardware.
- Apply expertise in power distribution, control systems, EMI/RFI compliance, and equipment selection.
- Lead engineering teams and collaborate across disciplines to solve technical challenges.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and qualification to military and aerospace standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation and integration of new technologies for high-reliability products.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong background in aerospace electrical design, including actuators, sensors, and motion control systems.
- Proficient with tools like Altium Designer or OrCAD; familiar with DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-704/461.
- Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and CAN Bus.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and technical communication skills.
