Engineering Manager (M/F/D)
Our client, a renowned family-owned business in the spirits industry with over 130 years of heritage, is currently seeking a Head of Technology to lead their production operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its iconic brands and strong values, and to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of their technical production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a technical team both professionally and disciplinarily
- Ensure uninterrupted production and optimal functionality of technical equipment
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage spare parts inventory, including consumption analysis and stock optimisation
- Plan, coordinate, and implement system changes with external service providers
- Drive continuous improvement and development of machinery and equipment
Your Profile:
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent qualification (e.g. master craftsman/technician)
- Proven leadership experience in a technical environment
- Experience in the food or beverage production sector is highly desirable
- Independent, structured, and hands-on working style
- Proficient in MS Office tools (M365, Teams)
