Facility EHS & Engineering Manager
The Facility EHS and Engineering Manager is responsible for leading environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs while managing facility engineering operations to ensure compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
Facility Engineering:
- Oversee facility maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Manage capital improvement projects and ensure timely execution within budget.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize facility performance and reliability.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and develop EHS and facility engineering teams.
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction.
- Implement best practices for safety, productivity, and environmental stewardship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in EHS and facility engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
