International Sales Manager

A leading consumer-focused organization is seeking a International Sales Manager to drive global growth and expand market presence across international regions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute international sales strategies, build strong distributor relationships, and identify new market opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in international sales, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

International Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Evaluate and prioritize existing markets to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities based on strategic fit and growth potential.
  • Build business cases and go-to-market strategies for expansion into new regions.
  • Establish market entry plans, including distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Account Management & Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, partners, and key accounts.
  • Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and business reviews with external partners.
  • Drive execution of trade and promotional initiatives to support brand growth globally.
  • Support brand positioning through product education and storytelling with partners.

Sales Analysis, Reporting & Forecasting

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance across international markets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts incorporating market data and feedback.
  • Track key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness of strategies.

Operational Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to support international logistics, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and trade requirements across markets.
  • Monitor external factors such as currency trends and assess business impact.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in international sales, preferably within a consumer-focused environment.
  • Proven success expanding products or brands into international markets.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Multilingual capabilities (e.g., English and Spanish) preferred.

Travel: Approximately 50% international travel.
