Western Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing the company's business throughout the Western part of the US and Canada. The RSM will have experience within pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sales with experience with Oral-Solid Dosage related equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell company and affiliate products and services within assigned territories and key accounts.
- Proactively engage existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities, assess needs, and build long‑term relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through proposal development, negotiation, and order placement.
- Develop proposals and quotations in collaboration with technical teams and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with technical, operational, and purchasing decision‑makers.
- Manage and grow key accounts while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with engineering, project management, service, and international teams to support sales and project execution.
- Identify new leads through outreach, networking, trade shows, industry events, and customer visits.
- Deliver product and technology presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Maintain strong knowledge of process technologies, equipment, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams to build customer loyalty.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare reports, and comply with travel and expense policies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry meetings.
- Provide regular updates to sales management on market trends, competition, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in capital equipment or pharmaceutical sales.
- B.S. Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
- Exceptional communication and organization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Navision, and Dynamics preferred.
- High degree of ownership, urgency, and adaptability, thriving in dynamic settings where priorities evolve quickly.

Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000 + uncapped quarterly commission
