Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily maintenance operations at our client's bioenergy facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, as well as experience in renewable energy or bioenergy environments. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the plant's equipment and machinery to support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are functioning at optimal performance.
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for plant equipment.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment breakdowns, performing root cause analysis and ensuring swift resolution to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt operations while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols related to bioenergy operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant equipment reliability and performance.
Manage and train maintenance personnel, promoting a high-performance culture, ongoing skill development, and safe work practices.
Coordinate the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Support capital project planning and implementation as necessary, ensuring new installations meet maintenance standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or energy-related field, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in bioenergy, renewable energy, or related industries (e.g., biomass, biogas, etc.) preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies used in bioenergy plants.
