Malaysia Plant General Manager -Bandar Sri Sendayan
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to meet business objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align plant goals with overall company strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role.
- Strong background in mechanical machining processes and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in managing large teams and complex operations.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in multinational manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence frameworks.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement within a plant setting.
