Process Improvement Supervisor
This role is responsible for evaluating and improving operational systems to drive efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness within a distribution center environment. You will assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives that simplify workflows, increase productivity, and strengthen overall performance.
The Process Improvement Supervisor uses data-driven insights and continuous improvement methodologies to solve problems and deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and improve operational processes, procedures, and workflows
- Lead change initiatives that promote accountability and a continuous improvement culture
- Apply Lean and operational excellence tools to optimize processes, systems, and technology
- Identify performance gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and recommend solutions
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement improvement strategies
- Track performance using KPIs and provide regular reporting on operational impact
- Develop action plans to improve quality, throughput, and cost
- Conduct operational analyses including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and time studies
- Support post-implementation reviews to ensure sustained results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt a plus)
- 2-5 years of experience in continuous improvement, or project management
- Experience leading or supporting Kaizen events
- Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to drive change and influence across organizational levels
- Proficiency with project management tools
