* Maintaining accurate and organized process safety documentation
* Leading and coordinating process hazard reviews for both new and existing systems
* Managing change‑control workflows and supporting internal review boards
* Supporting safe startup readiness checks and pre‑startup safety reviews
* Investigating incidents and near misses, determining root causes, and driving corrective actions
* Providing training and coaching on PSM expectations and best practices
* Partnering with cross‑functional teams to strengthen safety culture and compliance
The Process Safety Management Chemical Engineer should have the following qualifications…
* B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in hazardous chemical operations or petrochemical environments
* Familiarity with OSHA PSM standards
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work cross‑functionally
* Comfort with engineering software tools and technical documentation systems
