Production Maintenance Tech
Join our team as a Production Maintenance Tech, playing a key role in maintaining andoptimizing manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This hands-on position requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, along with leadership in installations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems
- Install and commission new machinery and components
- Maintain facility utilities (HVAC, water systems, compressed air)
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime and conduct root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (LOTO, Arc Flash)
- Keep accurate maintenance records and update technical documentation
- Manage spare parts inventory and initiate restocking
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or technical certification preferred)
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical/electrical focus)
- Skilled in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., SAP, eMaint)
- Knowledge of safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, confined space)
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Certifications in PLC programming, HVAC, or electrical systems are a plus
