Quality & Food Safety Manager
A leading organization is looking for a Quality and Food Safety Manager to oversee comprehensive quality program, ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment, and build the systems and teams needed to support expanding product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site's Quality and Food Safety Program, ensuring robust processes, proactive risk management, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Manage a multi-functional department encompassing quality control, food safety, documentation, and external quality oversight, driving performance and capability development.
- Collaborate with regional and cross‑site quality groups to harmonize policies, share best practices, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee investigations into customer and consumer complaints, ensuring efficient root‑cause analysis and meaningful corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline and 10+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within food or consumer goods.
- Proven track record leading QA/QC teams and driving quality improvement in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMPs, FDA compliance, GFSI frameworks, and OSHA/EPA guidelines.
- Familiarity with TQM, SPC, Lean methodology, and systematic problem‑solving practices.
