Retail Media Manager

A major food / consumer products client of mine is looking for a Retail Media Manager based our of their site in the Baltimore area. While this role is hybrid, the person needs to be based a commutable distance from the site. Relocation assistance can be provided if you are not local!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the retail search strategy across North America, ensuring it serves as a key conversion driver within full-funnel marketing plans while aligning with brand objectives, key selling periods, and retailer priorities.
  • Manage agency and platform partnerships to execute keyword strategy, establish bidding and budget frameworks, and optimize investment across brands and retailers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define standardized KPIs, develop data-driven retail media plans, and align efforts across category management, consumer insights, and retail teams.
  • Drive performance through ongoing optimization, campaign analysis, and post-campaign insights, leveraging analytics to inform future strategy, investment decisions, and marketing mix modeling inputs.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve retail media processes for greater efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in retail media, preferably in an agency or CPG environment.
  • Working knowledge of retail media platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Ads, Instacart Ads, Criteo) and a foundational understanding of digital media and the broader CPG landscape.
