Sanitation Supervisor
A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations. This role is critical to maintaining sanitation, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The position reports to the FSQA Manager and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sanitation and 5S programs to meet internal and external standards.
- Conduct inspections and manage swab/sample programs to ensure sanitation effectiveness.
- Audit compliance with GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and chemical handling procedures.
- Motivate and coach employees to foster a self-directed, goal-oriented team.
- Form and lead teams to improve sanitation outcomes and reduce equipment downtime.
- Train FSQA staff and plant personnel on sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Provide backup coverage for production supervision as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of sanitation experience in a food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of dry sanitation practices in food manufacturing.
- PCQI certification required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret data for compliance decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Comfortable working across diverse teams and organizational levels.
