Job Title: Senior Industrial Engineer
Location: Greater Allentown, PA Area
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
Summary:
A reputable manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Sr. Industrial Engineer for their Greater Allentown, PA facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Sr. Industrial Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop efficient manufacturing methods, labor standards, and cost analyses to optimize facility and staff use.
- Review production data and engineering specs to inform manufacturing processes and improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and engineering analyses for new or improved product designs.
- Use 3D CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) to design fixtures and floor layouts for efficient workflows.
- Support product testing, prototype development, and training for new product introductions.
- Apply statistical methods (e.g., Minitab) to set quality standards, evaluate equipment accuracy, and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
The ideal Sr. Industrial Engineer will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement role within a manufacturing environment
- HVAC experience not required, but preferred
