About the Role

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term performance and safety of manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive equipment reliability, support capital projects, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead reliability-focused aspects of capital projects, from small-scale upgrades to multi-million-dollar installations
  • Ensure new equipment is installed correctly and designed for long-term maintainability
  • Support regulatory compliance and provide technical guidance on safety standards (OSHA, ASME, NFPA, PSM)
  • Analyze maintenance data to improve uptime and reduce costs
  • Facilitate root cause analyses and serve as a subject matter expert on equipment performance
  • Collaborate on plant-wide reliability strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of site operations and maintenance KPIs

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with rotating and fixed equipment, including pumps, fans, blowers, and material handling systems
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance best practices
  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience in chemical process safety or combustible dust environments is a plus
