While still a relatively small organisation, the company is scaling quickly and investing heavily in its quality and supply chain capabilities. This role represents a critical hire and offers genuine long term career progression, with the potential to evolve into an International Quality Head position as the business continues to expand globally.
The Opportunity
Our Client is seeking a hands on and highly autonomous Supplier Quality Manager to be based in Shenzhen, close to its core supplier network. The role will hold responsibility for supplier quality across Asia, including China and India, and will work closely with the CEO based in North America. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, operating independently, and developing quality processes in a high growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead supplier quality management activities across Asia, with a strong on site presence at key suppliers
* Conduct supplier audits, part inspections, and quality reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
* Measure, analyse, and validate components and assemblies using appropriate inspection tools and methodologies
* Develop clear and structured quality reports to support data driven decision making and root cause analysis
* Drive corrective and preventive action processes with suppliers to improve long term quality performance
* Partner closely with internal stakeholders and the CEO to align supplier quality with broader business objectives
* Support supplier development initiatives as the business continues to expand its supplier footprint
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in a Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment
* Comfortable spending significant time visiting suppliers across Asia, including India
* Strong technical capability in reviewing, measuring, and validating manufactured parts
* Highly analytical, with the ability to translate inspection results into clear, actionable reports
* Independent, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
* Excited by working in a growing business where processes are still being built and refined
* Confident engaging with senior leadership and managing stakeholders across geographies
