Supply Chain Data Analyst
Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data related to inventory, procurement, transportation, and demand planning. You'll collaborate across departments to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze supply chain performance metrics and KPIs to support operational improvements.
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
Interpret data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) to forecast demand and optimize inventory.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Monitor supplier performance and support risk management activities.
Assist with the implementation of supply chain analytics tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or supply chain analytics role.
Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or retail environment is a plus
