About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Germany. This permanent position focuses on driving commercial success through proactive hunting of new business opportunities, particularly in the air and ocean freight sectors. The role requires a hands-on approach, blending strategic sales development with excellent client relationship-building skills. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence across Germany, with flexible hybrid working options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in air and ocean freight services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in driving sales within freight forwarding or related logistics sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in fashion, textiles, FMCG, Ecommerce, retail, or general cargo is advantageous but not necessary.
- B2B Sales Hunting: Proven track record of securing new business rather than managing existing accounts (hunting focus).
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to build strategic partnerships and maintain high client satisfaction.
