Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the replenishment of materials and coordinate shipments from various supplier locations, while monitoring lead times, order quantities, storage requirements, and shelf life.
• Determine appropriate order quantities to balance operational demand with available financial and warehouse resources.
• Oversee reverse logistics processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with volume, pricing, delivery terms, and accurate freight cost tracking.
• Demonstrate strong crisis management and multi-tasking skills when addressing material issues in production.
• Lead supplier business reviews to drive performance improvements and maintain supplier relationships.
• Contribute to strategic sourcing efforts, including documentation, regulatory compliance, sample evaluations, and financial audits, in partnership with the sourcing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to deliver organizational value.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work fully on-site at the designated facility.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, particularly in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Proficiency in managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Syspro) is a plus
