We're seeking a proactive and commercially astute Category Buyer to manage strategic procurement across Indirect, CAPEX, and MRO categories. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where your expertise will directly support operational excellence and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend, capital investments, and maintenance-related procurement.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and finance to align procurement with business needs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and supplier innovations to inform category strategies.
What You Bring:
- Solid experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to CAPEX and MRO.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel between Stuttgart and Willstätt as required.
