Commercial Sales Program Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing
A Global leader in advanced engineered metal products, serving the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries is seeking a Commercial Sales Program Manager to drive strategic growth and manage key customer relationships across its machining and finished parts portfolio. This role will lead the execution of commercial strategies, oversee forecasting and quoting activities, and ensure compliance with export regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering or sales, a consultative approach to customer engagement, and the ability to deliver results through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of long-range sales forecasts and annual budgets
- Manage customer orders and quote activity, balancing cost, pricing, and competitive dynamics
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with key customer contacts and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and serve as technical liaison for export control
- Represent machining and finished parts in corporate growth initiatives
- Prepare and present sales and marketing reports to leadership
- Contribute to strategic planning and business renewal efforts
- Support compliance with corporate protocols including EHS, SOX, ISO, and ethics policies
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Sales
- Prior Program Manager experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and market dynamics
- Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and deliver on commercial objectives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with export-controlled data and compliance requirements
