Customer Quality Manager
A leading technology company specializing in advanced power solutions is seeking a Customer Quality Manager to lead customer-facing quality initiatives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, semiconductors, or microelectronics manufacturing, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary quality liaison for key customers, managing communication and resolution of product quality issues, concerns, and corrective actions.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints, driving root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of robust corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction metrics; develop strategic plans to address quality trends and performance gaps.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and reliability teams to support product quality improvements and new product introductions.
- Coordinate customer audits and manage quality documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Provide input to design for quality and manufacturability to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Act as voice-of-the-customer within internal quality and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in customer quality, quality engineering, or supplier quality in an electronics or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leading customer complaint investigations and implementing systemic corrective actions.
- Working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
