Director ERP Systems, Procurement
Position Overview
The Director of ERP Systems - Procurement is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the corporate ERP system related to procurement, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions. This role involves strategic and tactical project execution, systems planning, development, implementation, and performance monitoring. The Director collaborates closely with business stakeholders and senior ERP leadership to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and successful delivery of procurement technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Partners with executive leadership and business teams plan, develop, and implement systems supporting procurement operations.
- Lead and manage cross-regional teams, including offshore resources, to build scalable and high-performing support structures.
- Execute IT projects aligned with business priorities and timelines.
- Oversee data integration between Oracle Cloud and proprietary backend systems.
- Monitor daily system operations and direct corrective actions to maintain performance and reliability.
- Review and approve application customizations and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Serve as the liaison between procurement and other system domain owners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT and business operations, with strong knowledge of procurement principles.
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud Procurement modules including Purchasing, Contracts, Sourcing, Inventory/SCM, and Payables.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, lead functional specification meetings, and manage testing and configuration.
- Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including business processes, technology, and change management functions.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and upgrading Oracle Cloud Procurement systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical and strategic information to business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
