E-Commerce Category Manager
A leader in Kitchen and Bath luxury goods is looking for a strategic Category Manager to lead high-performing product categories. This role will be responsible for driving sales, profitability, and growth across e-commerce and retail channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce, global sourcing, and product lifecycle management, with a proven track record managing large, diverse SKU portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data-driven category strategies to maximize sales, conversion rates, and overall profitability.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to ensure relevant and competitive product offerings.
- Optimize product listings, SEO, and content across key e-commerce and retail platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product development to support promotions, new launches, and inventory planning.
- Manage relationships with global suppliers and key vendors to ensure product availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee sourcing and procurement strategies with a focus on profitability and operational efficiency.
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems to manage 1,000+ SKUs, analyze performance, and generate actionable reports.
- Support product development and manufacturing by understanding Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product specifications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Category Management, preferably in durable goods or bath/kitchen products.
- Strong e-commerce experience, including direct-to-consumer and Amazon Seller Central.
- Proven ability to manage large SKU assortments and optimize performance through data analysis.
- Experience sourcing globally and working with large retailers (Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, etc.).
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating various ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
