EHS Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and driving strategic initiatives that minimize risk and promote well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the EHS strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive risk profiles for the facility, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Design, implement, and update EHS programs including risk assessments, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, machine safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and contractor safety.
  • Maintain and regularly update preventive and emergency protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop tools and resources to support supervisory and management teams in EHS monitoring and application.
  • Track and follow up on corrective actions related to EHS incidents and audits.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate EHS performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach and support leadership in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs, both technical and leadership-focused.
  • Facilitate and guide safety committees and working groups to promote engagement and accountability.
  • Oversee chemical management, including product approval and compliance with OSHA Hazard Communication Standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational safety and sustainability goals.
