Company Summary:
A leading manufacturer in the packaging and paper products industry is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead maintenance activities across a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility. This role combines people leadership with technical oversight, offering the opportunity to manage electrical and instrumentation technicians while driving safety, reliability, maintenance performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor will be responsible for:
* Team Leadership - Lead, coach, develop, and manage electrical and instrumentation technicians while supporting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Maintenance Execution - Plan, schedule, and prioritize daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance.
* Electrical & Instrumentation Support - Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and process control equipment.
* Outage Planning & Coordination - Support and lead maintenance activities during planned outages and shutdowns to ensure successful execution of critical work.
* Reliability Improvement - Participate in root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
* Contractor & Vendor Management - Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and external resources supporting maintenance and project activities.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support plant objectives and improve overall performance.
The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor should have the following qualifications:
* Experience directly managing and developing maintenance personnel within an industrial manufacturing environment.
* Strong background in electrical maintenance and instrumentation systems.
* Experience leading maintenance activities in a continuous-process manufacturing facility.
* Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance work across multiple priorities.
* Experience with troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems.
* Familiarity with CMMS platforms such as Maximo or similar maintenance management systems.
* Experience supporting outage planning, reliability initiatives, and root cause analysis efforts preferred.
* Background in pulp & paper strongly preferred; chemicals, pharmaceuticals, wastewater treatment, and similar industrial manufacturing environments will also be considered.
* Formal electrical training and/or significant electrical maintenance experience.
