Inside Sales Manager

Our client, a growing mid-sized logistics provider, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients with logistics needs across all modalities.

You are proactive, confident on the phone, and passionate about building relationships. Your responsibilities will include preparing quotes, creating estimates, and ensuring timely commercial follow-up. You will develop new leads into strong customer relationships, act as the link between clients and operations, and support outside sales colleagues with insights and reporting. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across the entire logistics chain.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for potential clients and promote logistics services.
  • Proactively approach new customers through cold calling and lead generation.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates.
  • Support outside sales with customer insights and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial or logistics education (HBO level or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar inside sales or commercial role.
  • Strong knowledge of transport and logistics; experience with sea and road freight is important.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • Skilled in multitasking and maintaining oversight across multiple activities.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
