About the Role
A fast-growing, internationally operating organization is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to take ownership of its global office and network infrastructure. This role combines strategic design responsibilities with hands-on oversight and close collaboration with external consultants. A key upcoming milestone will be the infrastructure design and implementation for a new European warehouse location.
This position offers a high degree of autonomy and influence, working across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments in a multi-country setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, design, and continuously improve the global office IT infrastructure across multiple international locations
- Lead infrastructure planning and implementation for a new warehouse project in Europe, including network and connectivity concepts
- Design, manage, and optimise the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, secure connectivity) across all sites
- Ensure a stable, secure, and scalable hybrid IT environment (cloud and on‑premise)
- Act as the main technical counterpart for external consultants, service providers, and vendors
- Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices
- Support capacity planning, security, and reliability initiatives across the infrastructure landscape
Required Expertise & Experience
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure leadership or senior infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, including design and operation
- Solid experience in network design, implementation, and management
- Practical experience with hybrid environments (on‑premise and cloud-based infrastructures)
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Experience working with external consultants and managed service providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting logistics, warehouse, or operational environments
- Exposure to multi-site or international IT landscapes
- Understanding of IT security principles in distributed environments
