Maintenance Manager
A leading Manufacturer within the aerospace and defense industry is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee all equipment, building systems, and grounds operations. This role leads a team of approximately 40 maintenance professionals and plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Manage building systems, grounds upkeep, and space planning.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement and support cross-functional projects.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional nights/weekends.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (due to regulatory requirements).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience managing large teams and complex facilities.
