The Maintenance Planner - should have the following skill set:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, or 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
* Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations
* Understanding of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership
* Knowledge of engineering principles and the practical application of technology in manufacturing
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and maintenance management systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound business decisions
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and implement effective solutions
* Experience leading meetings and coaching teams
The Maintenance Planner - will:
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, repair, and installation activities for paper pulp and converting equipment
* Determine work priorities, sequences, and assignments based on equipment needs and personnel skills
* Train team members in safety, repair techniques, and operational procedures
* Estimate labor and material costs and manage maintenance budgets
* Inspect systems and facilities to identify service or repair needs
* Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures in alignment with company goals
* Utilize electronic maintenance programs and computer-based systems for planning and tracking
* Lead and coach maintenance staff to foster a productive and positive work environment
* Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations
