What You'll Be Doing
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment across their flagship site. Expect a mix of leadership, hands‑on troubleshooting, and strategic planning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities across the plant
- Leading, guiding, and supporting a skilled maintenance team
- Ensuring machinery and systems run at peak performance through proactive and reactive maintenance
- Planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance programmes to minimise downtime
- Diagnosing complex technical issues across a range of industrial equipment
- Driving improvements in reliability, safety, and equipment lifespan
- Maintaining compliance with all technical, safety, and regulatory standards
What You Bring
- Strong technical understanding of industrial maintenance-mechanical, electrical, or multi‑skilled
- Experience supporting automated or semi‑automated plant environments
- Previous team leadership or workshop supervisory experience
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a high‑throughput production environment
- Excellent fault‑finding abilities and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- A completed technical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., Elektromeister:in, Industriemeister:in, or similar). An elecrical background is a MUST!
- Hands‑on experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial engineering environments
- Good written and spoken German skills
