Operations Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our client's logistics processes. This is a standalone role with no direct reports, ideal for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys taking ownership of operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations, including coordination with carriers, warehouses, and customers.
- Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with Dutch and international regulations.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all shipments and customs procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Serve as the key point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics operations, including inbound/outbound management and customs clearance.
- Strong understanding of international shipping and customs regulations.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
