Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across production, maintenance and logistics
- Conduct performance evaluations and perform disciplinary actions for policy/procedure infractions
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality & Supply Chain
- Audit plant for compliance to all policies/standards
- Provide downtime analysis & schedule necessary preventative maintenance
- Ensure continuous operation of production lines
- Review customer returns and provide corrective actions
- Work closely with safety, training, quality and R&D departments to drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Comply with all AIB and BRC standards/SOPs
- Motivate team members to be engaged and focus on efficiency/quality targets
- Act as a change agent by modeling behaviors and promoting two-way communication
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (flexible for combination of degree and experience)
- Demonstrated organization skills and problem-solving abilities
- Expertise in Six Six, lean manufacturing or other CI methodologies
- Preferred manufacturing experience in packaging
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team-building skills
