A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at a high‑performance paper production facility. The site leverages advanced technology, disciplined processes, and a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement. The Plant Manager will play a key role in elevating operational results, building leadership capability, and driving excellence across safety, quality, production output, and overall plant performance.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for:
* Providing strategic and day‑to‑day leadership across all plant operations
* Leading a strong safety culture and ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance
* Overseeing production planning, operational performance, and overall plant efficiency
* Managing departmental leaders and developing high‑performing teams
* Supporting capital projects, reliability improvements, and long‑term operational strategy
* Partnering with cross‑functional teams including Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Finance
The ideal Plant Manager will have:
* 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience
* Proven ability to drive performance, accountability, and organizational change
* Experience managing budgets and understanding key financial drivers
* Strong leadership, communication, and team‑development skills
* Background in capital projects, reliability, or engineering‑focused plant improvements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
* Experience in paper manufacturing or heavy process industry strongly preferred
