They are looking for an application engineer to be a technical point of contact for their F&B and pharma manufacturing customers to develop process solutions and develop application concepts of process machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate New Applications: Identify and develop new uses for fluidized bed technology, supporting the sales team with tailored application strategies.
- Design Custom Production Concepts: Create production solutions that meet specific customer needs and product requirements.
- Develop Product Samples: Produce sample products for targeted customer segments.
- Create Case Studies: Write and publish detailed application reports that highlight the benefits and versatility of the technology.
- Customer Support: Provide expert advice and assistance to both domestic and international clients on product-related inquiries.
- Marketing Collaboration: Assist the marketing team in developing promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, press releases, and technical articles.
- Coordinate Customer Trials: Plan, manage, and execute customer trials in the test center, including all related communication and logistics.
Your Profile:
- Education: Degree in food technology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology, process engineering, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience: Several years of relevant experience in food or pharmaceutical technology is preferred-e.g., as an application engineer, process engineer, product manager, or technical sales specialist.
- Languages: Proficiency in both German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Mindset: You enjoy understanding customer challenges and working collaboratively to develop effective solutions.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, team-oriented, solution-focused, communicative, and quick to grasp new concepts.
