Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer
About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across their production operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of quality systems, procedures, and documentation in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues and non-conformances.
- Perform internal audits and assist with external regulatory and customer audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure quality standards are met throughout the production lifecycle.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Assist in the qualification of raw materials, equipment, and processes.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a chemical or process manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and analytical methods.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
