Sr. Procurement Analyst
The Senior Analyst position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the transformation of the Procurement function within a growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain/Procurement, the Senior Analyst will independently manage procurement initiatives of increasing complexity, depending on experience. This role involves leading multiple projects and collaborating across various corporate functions with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential new vendors for assigned categories
- Develop RFPs to support price discovery and vendor selection
- Lead or support sourcing initiatives under the guidance of the Director
- Negotiate supply terms and conditions with managerial support
- Draft and implement supply agreements in collaboration with Legal and stakeholders
- Oversee supplier onboarding and agreement implementation
- Investigate and resolve supply chain issues (e.g., lead times, availability, quality)
- Provide ongoing supplier relationship management
- Manage vendor price change requests and update internal pricing systems
- Support procurement research and analytics for broader initiatives
- Maintain contract databases and update vendor pricing on internal platforms
- Monitor raw material price indexes to identify market trends
- Respond to product inquiries and ensure compliance with vendor agreements
- Allocate products to field locations as needed
Reporting Responsibilities:
- Track and report on cost savings, cost avoidance, and performance improvements
- Maintain sourcing initiative schedules
- Identify opportunities for supplier diversity, SKU rationalization, and vendor consolidation
- Conduct vendor usage and trend analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of experience in Procurement, Consulting, or analytical roles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level) Willingness to travel as needed
