Role Overview:
Lead key elements of the Environmental Management Program, ensuring regulatory compliance across air quality, stormwater, wastewater, and spill prevention programs. This role provides technical support, oversees permitting and monitoring activities, and guides environmental considerations within operations and facility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental compliance programs for Air Quality, Stormwater, Wastewater, and SPCC/PPC.
- Oversee permitting, inspections, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Support environmental engineering initiatives and pollution‑control system improvements.
- Conduct audits, lead incident response, and execute environmental projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate environmental requirements into operations.
- Maintain facility operating licenses (boilers, elevators, wells, x‑ray devices).
- Manage vendor agreements related to environmental and sustainability programs.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal air, stormwater, and wastewater regulations.
- Experience with SPCC, PPC, sampling/monitoring, and industrial permitting.
- Familiarity with EPCRA, RCRA, ODS, and GHG reporting.
- Strong technical, analytical, and regulatory communication skills.
- HAZWOPER 40‑hour preferred.
