Technical Support Manager

Overview:
The Technical Support Manager leads a team responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders within the chemical manufacturing space. This role ensures product performance, supports troubleshooting, and drives customer satisfaction through deep technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical support operations, including customer inquiries, product troubleshooting, and application guidance.
  • Collaborate with R&D, sales, and production teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and support resources.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product-related concerns.
  • Provide technical input during product development and commercialization.
  • Train and mentor technical support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Interface with customers to understand application needs and provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or product development within chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of chemical formulations, applications, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer site visits and technical support.
